T he
farm and holiday resort I Muri extends on 141acres, united to
another ground belonging to the same property it forms a total
extension of 314 acres with parks, woods, cultivated fields and meadows
and green spaces to enjoy.
I really is a window with a view on the green landscape reaching
until the Mount Subasio, the mountains behind Perugia and those
on the border to Tuscany. Among the central group of buildings there
are four already restored farmhouses where our guests are lodged.
Each farmhouse has its proper name and precisely: Casa Colonica, Casa
Floriana, Casa Gioiello, Casa Seconda. Beyond these there are: |
 |
a
chapel where mass may be celebrated, |
 |
a
playing ground for children with a swing, a play-hut and a slide, |
 |
8
km of equipped paths for wanderers, |
 |
a
swimming pool of 10 x 9 metres, open from May to September, |
 |
a
common patio for meals in the open air, |
 |
a
park with benches and skirted by evergreen trees, |
 |
a
stable for our flock and the poultry, |
 |
a
hay-loft, |
 |
two
small stables for the horses of our guests, |
 |
two
wooden dog’s beds for the dogs of our guests. |
|
 |
 |
Two
more farmhouses, respectively called Tiberina and Disola are still to
be restored. |
