The
business is divided into two branches: a farm business and a tourist
accommodation business.
The farm branch produces without genetically modified organisms
and transforms a medium quantity of produce for the own needs and for sale:
Wheat, hay, barley, maize, oats are used to feed our animals; firewood for
our own needs and for sale; olive oil, fruit, poultry, eggs, some spices
are used in our kitchen. Grapes are given to a third party for being
transformed.
Mushrooms and truffles in the appropriate season and when we
are lucky. |
The
tourist business is organized for: conventions, special days for groups,
feasts, anniversaries, seminars, exhibitions and plain cooking courses; the
accommodation of travellers arriving by foot, by horse or by car;the
rest and the nourishment of tourists or tourist groups during their
holiday for short or long periods, offering them beautiful and comfortable
rooms and apartments.

Offering a
half-board service to the guests who wish to relax completely and want
somebody to take care of their nutritional needs even in presence of
low-fat, low-cholesterol, vegetarian diets or specific allergies.
The half-board includes: a rich breakfast-brunch which may be taken even between 10.00
and 12.00 a.m. (provided all guests present agree) and where usually we
serve milk, coffee, tea, malt, jams, yoghurt, home-made cakes, butter,
bread, eggs, fruit, cheese and delicatessen.
Dinner is usually
served around 8.00 p.m. inside the main building with candle-light
illumination and in the open under the stars, enjoying a Mediterranean
cuisine, freshly prepared each day and which diversifies daily with
hors-d’œuvres,
first dishes, main dishes, vegetables, fruit, sweets and liquors (the
latter as well home-made), espresso. |
